Mermaids and Cat Calls

There is lots going on here, almost to busy to post!!! But I thought I’d do a quick post so too much time doesn’t pass by.

I’ve been working on mermaid pictures, quite frankly I’m a little obsessed. Here a few drawings that I’ll repost when I’ve finished painting them.

I’m signed up for Suzu Blu’s La Sirenas class.  SO I’m all about mermaids right now.

The kids are right back into busy mode. Harry has hockey clinic everyday and then soccer in from 5-8. he’s pooped. Poor thing.

Jack spends all day in bed and then hockey at night. I guess I shouldn’t freak out about that as he is a teenager… grrr, and school starts next Tuesday. It will be an adjustment for him as he has to wake up at 6.15 am then. It will not be pleasant.

Harry had soccer practice last night, my husband was there and he told me how the team (10 and 11 yr olds)  were stretching against a fence when the girls field hockey team walked by 12/13 yr old) He said the group of boys turned into mini construction workers. With cat calls of;

“You must be a baker, I like your buns.”  ( Seriously!!!!)  I think my sweet little Harry shouted this one.

“Am I dead, cos I must be in heaven”  (Oh boy! )

I’m new in town, do you have directions to your house” ( Puhlease! )

Amongst many others!!!

The Soccer Coach just shook his head (whilst laughing). To be honest I’m a little horrified that these sweet little boys turned into macho monsters Cat Calling pretty girls.

Not so long ago they hated girls with a passion.  It’s funny now  but I think we ‘ll have to have a conversation about this. Sigh!
